Renovation of a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
Renovations to Biological Sciences Research Labs SW536 and SW537 and Office SW543. The Design and Construction Management Department at the University of Toronto Scarborough requires general contracting services for the interior renovation of approximately 68 sq m of research laboratory spaces (SW536 and SW537) and approximately 32 sq m of office space (SW543) for the Department of Biological Sciences on the fifth floor of the Science Wing building. Scope of Work (SOW) highlights are to be read in conjunction with the Drawings, and the Specifications. The SOW highlights are intended to provide a brief summary of services to be carried out by the Contractor and shall, in no way, limit responsibilities more fully described in the Contract Documents. Work included is as follows: - Demolition and removal of hazardous material. - New dry walls and Gypsum Wallboard (GWB) laminate. Painting and patching of existing walls and ceiling - Installation of new casework - New lighting, power and data outlets. - New Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing work.
