The City of Kennewick is requesting bids to install and complete restoration services for three existing City ballfield complexes including leveling and turf. The project will consist of providing and installing materials and equipment for site improvements as noted on the plan sheet(s) and specifications. Fraise mow a total of 34,120 sq ft turf 1" thick off sod edges using a fraise mower and haul off using dump trucks with floatation tires. Till and laser grade subgrade using a laser grader with dual receivers on a road grader. The finished grade shall be between a 0.2 to 0.5 percent grade. Provide and install a total of 1,140-ton DuraEdge(R) classic infield mix (72% sand, 12% silt, 16% clay) laser graded. The finished grade shall be between a 0.2 to 0.5 percent grade. Perform edge work, vibra flex and finish grade with a laser grader with vibra flex attachment. Deliver and install 34,120 sq ft sand based sports turf using a big roll installer. Provide and install approximately 12 feet of new sod per specification (ATTACHMENT F), on average, around the circumference from the infield dirt arch out into the outfield. No alternative sod material will be accepted without written approval of City of Kennewick Purchasing Department. Mowing height has been set at 5/8 inch. Provide a certified warranty from DuraEdge(R) to the City of Kennewick upon completion of work. Project has been cancelled until further notice.
