Documents are available at www.sasktenders.ca The Work at the Paradise Hill School includes regrading areas to allow for positive drainage, the construction of concrete sidewalk, and the construction of a retaining wall. Construction will be phased into two parts, the east playground area and the west entrance. The Work included in each part is as follows: o East Playground Area o Regrading the area that ponds from the south side of the school to the slides to allow for positive drainage from south to north. The area to be regraded shall have a defined landscaped drainage swale. The area to be regraded shall follow the existing natural drainage path, with infilling the ponding area as required. o Construction of a concrete sidewalk. o West Entrance o Regrading the landscaped area to the east of the existing retaining wall to redirect surface runoff water flow to over top of the retaining wall instead of to the south across the concrete walkway. o Replace the sidewalk adjacent to the concrete walkway into the west entrance of the school at a minimum 2% cross slope to 4 th Avenue and dowelled into the existing concrete walkway. o Install a retaining wall along the north edge of the concrete walkway at the school's west entrance.
