Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Murphysboro, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,600-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Project Description: Construction of an approximately 1600 sf addition to include 2 offices, conference room and storage. Remove existing roof system and install new roofing system over the existing building and the new addition. Remove and replace 21 RTUs on the existing building. Install VRF system for the building addition. The Owner requires the project to be substantially complete by May 31, 2023. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Sum. The bid security shall be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Hereinafter this bid security shall be referred to as the bid bond. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the Owner.
