Town of Agawam, School Street Pump Station Odor Control - construction of a chemical storage and feed system and carbon odor control system to control odors at the School Street Pump Station and related improvements The work consists of the replacement of the sodium hypochlorite, sodium hydroxide, cationic polymer, aluminum sulfate, hydrofluosilicic acid and phosphate chemical feed systems including, but not limited to bulk tanks, day tanks, chemical metering pumps, chemical transfer pumps, chemical feed piping, carrier water piping and associated valve and appurtenances, bulk tank concrete pads, chemical vent piping, chemical fill piping, containment curb modifications, and all associated appurtenances and structural and plumbing modifications, and mechanical and electrical equipment. In addition, the work consists of a new chemical room exterior door, new interior door to the hydrofluosilicic acid room, temporary chemical feed systems for all chemicals, and concrete sidewalk and paved access drive to new exterior door. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. please note that this project is receiving SRF funding; MBE businesses must include a 6100-3 form with their proposal.
