Renovation of a multi-residential development in Framingham, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 58,728-square-foot multi-residential development.
As of March 13, 2023, the project is in the process of being awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The FHA requests Statements of Qualifications for prequalification of DCAMM Certified Subcontract (SC) bidders for the Carlson Crossing West Modernization Project. Work involves renovation of 17 Buildings, including: 12 One-bedroom Units, 20 Two-bedroom Units, 32 Three-bedroom Units, and 4 Four-bedroom Units for a total of 58,728 SF. Project includes gutting, gas and electrical upgrades, concrete walkways, and common mechanical/sprinkler rooms. Buildings will be vacant during renovations. FHA is prequalifying interested SC firms through this Request for Qualification (RFQ) process. Only prequalified firms will be permitted to submit bids. No interpretations of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents shall be made to any bidder. Every request must be in writing. Questions concerning this project shall be submitted via email to the Architect, EFNArchitects-Attn: Ed Nunes (nunes@EFNArchitects.com) The Phase A work shall be completed within 14 months (425 days) of the commencement of work (Notice to Proceed). The work defined in Phase B, will commence at the same time as Phase A (Notice of Proceed) and require the Contractor to complete work on the remaining 11 Buildings/44 units within the 18 months (548 Days) from the commence of construction of the Carlson Crossing West Project.
