ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS "MAIN YARD CARRIZO WELL PLUGGING" for the City of Pleasanton, Texas Separate sealed bids for "MAIN YARD WELL CARRIZO WELL PLUGGING" for the City of Pleasanton will be received at Pleasanton City Hall, Attn: Andres Aguirre, City Secretary, 108 Second Street, Pleasanton, Texas 78064 until February 10th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after closing time will be rejected and returned to the bidder unopened. This project will consist of the plugging of an existing Carrizo Water Well at the City's Main Yard Water Plant located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Mansfield St. and Goodwin St. in the City of Pleasanton. Also included in the project but not limited to, is the removal of the existing submersible well pump and motor, and removal of the concrete sanitary seal. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the office of COPE ENGINEERING, INC., 8611 Botts Lane, San Antonio, Texas 78217 (210-828-7070, fax 210- 828-7076). Copies may be obtained at the office of the Engineer upon a non-refundable payment of $50.00 per set. There is an additional $10.00 non-refundable mailing fee for each set. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety. A certified check or bank draft made payable to City of Pleasanton may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Bids must be submitted on the forms furnished. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the above scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any or all bids.
