To plan, design and construct a new warehouse for Thoreau Chapter. To have a secured building to store heavy equipment, emergency supplies and other equipment/supplies to prevent vandalism, corrosion, or theft. The project will include the purchase of a warehouse with an office, bathroom facility with utility hook-ups. The building will be a 9,600 sq. ft. "120' X 80' pre-engineered metal building. The building will be used to store heavy equipment and supplies. Currently, the land is secured with archaeological, and environmental studies completed. The chapter is seeking funds to purchase the warehouse which will be owned, operated, and maintained by the Thoreau Chapter. Navajo Nation will be the fiscal agent for the chapter. Project is included New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration FY 2023-2027 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan CIP.
