AEP is looking to retain the services of a contractor to perform a condition inspection and assessment of the St. Mary Dam Irrigation Outlet. The services provided shall include: 1. A review of existing information, drawings, reports and construction records of the arrangement of the irrigation outlet. 2. A site visit and inspection of all hydraulics, actuators, operating gates, emergency gates, control systems, and the outlet tunnel. Provide a life expectancy of all components of the irrigation outlet. A recent inspection has been completed and limited to immediate concerns; this would be a more robust inspection including the valving systems, hydraulic system, and the affects of the blind hydraulics system on safety. 3. Propose long-term rehabilitation or replacement options to address the existing concerns. The study shall include the cost estimate, preliminary design, drawings, constructability assessment of these options, and a timeline for the detailed design and construction. The feasibility of a barrier to allow rehabilitation work shall be undertaken.
