SCOPE OF PROJECT The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Approximately 6,900 square yards of asphalt parking lot removal and 7,800 square yards asphalt parking lot placement, with grading, storm sewer construction, lighting, pavement striping, sedimentation control devices, and restoration and appurtenant work EXAMINATION OF SPECIFICATIONS Contract documents may be examined at the offices of: Kent ISD Facilities Offices, 1655 East Beltline, NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525 Vriesman & Korhorn Civil Engineers, 7885 Byron Center Avenue SW, Suite A, Byron Center, MI 49315 PDF's of the Drawings and Project Manual will be emailed at no charge to prequalified bidders. Any conclusions or information obtained or derived from electronic media will be at the user's sole risk. Vriesman & Korhorn Civil Engineers' responsibility is limited to only the printed copies (also known as hard copies) that are delivered pursuant to the service under the contract with the client. FUNDING The work to be performed under these contracts will be financed and paid for by funds received from Kent Intermediate School District, Kent County, Michigan RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least sixty (60) days thereafter. The project shall be substantially completed by August 19, 2022
