The project is broken into 2 major components, Phase 1 from 61st to 66th Ave and Phase 2 from 59th to 61st Ave. Figure 1 below outlines these areas accordingly. Performance Bond 100 % Payment Bond 100 % Insurance Required Question Acceptance Deadline 02/16/2022 07:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online No Phase 1 of the project includes the portion of C St between 61st and 66 th Ave. As part of the development agreement for the residential construction immediately south of the project between 61st and 66 th Ave, a 4 lane roadway (2 lanes in either direction) was designed and was to be constructed. The developer fully planned this segment and constructed 2 lanes of the 4 lane construction as well as curb, gutter, and sidewalk on the south side of the street for approximately the western half of Phase 1. All design available plans, reports, and available information from the previous design are available on the City's FTP site. All City supplied documents are for reference purposes only. The constructed portion of Phase 1 is outlined above. During construction it was discovered that the City did not own the Right of Way for the full construction area so construction was halted. No improvement work, other than mass grading to tie into the development to the south has been performed in the Not Constructed portion of Phase 1. Ultimately the City desires a 2 lane collector configuration for the entire portion of C St between 59 th and 66 th Ave. The design plans shall include the intersection of 61 st Ave and C St, which has significant grade differentials between the constructed 61 st Ave and proposed connection to C St. The 61 st Ave and C St intersection may be a roundabout style intersection depending on the recommendations from the traffic report. The connection of F St to the north shall be a curb cut / driveway entrance only. Phase 2 of the project includes finishing the connection of C St from 59 th to 66 th by improving the segment between 59 th Ave and 61 st Ave. While the design of this segment is included in this Request for Proposal, this construction is currently unfunded and would executed be at a later date. The City would like for a Roundabout to be constructed at the intersection of C St and 59 th Ave. A major consideration for the Phase 2 portion of the design engineering is the crossing of the Sheep Draw. Included in the Phase 2 design shall be a 12" PVC water line connecting the City's water system from 59th to 61st Ave along C St. This design would include the necessity of a stub out to the east for the 61st Ave intersection during Phase 1 of the project. The completion date of providing the required product and services shall be October 1, 2022
