Crook County Chip Seal Rock Preparation and Delivery Project Final award will be announced during County Court at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Each bid must be submitted in accordance with the County's bid packet and accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond, payable to Crook County, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Each bid shall be submitted in a lump sum amount. Robert E. O'Neal, Crook County Road Master, 1306 N. Main Street, Prineville, Oregon 97754; telephone: (541) 447-4644 is designated as the person to whom all inquiries regarding the project, this Invitation, and/or the Bidder's Proposal must be directed. No bids shall be received or considered by the County unless the bidder is registered with the Construction Contractor's Board and/or licensed by the State Landscape Contractor's Board as required by ORS 671.530. The bidder must identify whether it is a resident bidder under ORS 279C.365(h). Crook County reserves the right to accept the bid and award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder which is in the best interests of the County, to postpone the acceptance of bids received and the award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or to reject any and all bids received and further advertise for bids.
