Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Easton, Maryland. Working plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of April 4, 2023 bids received for this project were over the budget and was rejected. The project is on hold until the owner can secure additional grant funding. The Project consists of constructing a new 1,725gpm sewage pumping station with two (2) submersible pumps, one (1) influent grinder, precast wet well and valve vault, an electrical and control building, VFDs, controls and instrumentation, 16-inch diameter force main, site work, demolition of existing pump station and all other associated work as described and indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. This project is partially funded by State Funding, Maryland Department of Environment: Comprehensive Flood Management Grant Program, as such the project is subject to Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR), Division of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage rates, refer to the funding requirements and prevailing wage rates in the Bidding Documents. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:00PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents may be obtained from Easton Utilities website under the link Construction Details, located under the Resources tab. Please note that the documents online are password protected. Necessary access information can be obtained by contacting Easton Utilities Commission through email at bids@eucmail.com using the subject line: Windmill Pump Station Replacement . Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Engineer, GHD Inc., 16701 Melford Boulevard, Suite 330, Bowie, Maryland 20715, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If mailing of documents is requested, a separate check or money order payable to the Easton Utilities in the amount of $50.00 per set must be included to cover handling and postage fees. No refunds will be made for the return of Bidding Documents. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
