Hunter College Campus Schools is accepting bids on the attached scope of work for the 4th floor Counseling Suite, Room #436. The scope of work includes two phases - Demolition and Build Out per the attached drawing. Remove existing two dividing walls and two doors inside the suite. Remove existing carpet tiles inside the suite. Create an opening in the existing masonry block wall between the hallway and in between both existing offices Asbestos abatement of existing hallway floor tile where new door will be located. Install new framed sheetrock wall from front to back separating two new offices. Install new 2' x 2' carpet tile and 4" black cove base throughout the entire office suite. Separate existing light switch and add a new switch to create independent light fixtures in each office. Install new hollow metal door and frame in masonry wall. Supply and install mortised lockset on new door keyed to existing Best system. Patch and paint existing front and back walls where original wall was located. Install new ceiling grid and tile where original wall was located to match existing. Prepare and paint( with color to be provided) new sheetrock wall. Prepare and paint(with color to be provided) all existing walls and interior of new door and frame. Install two new exhaust fans and grills with independent control switches in each office. Ductwork location to be determined during field visit(either through the roof or sidewall). Prepare and paint exterior side of new door and frame. Patch and install new hallway floor tile.
