Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of the supply and installation of a new boiler and the removal and disposal of the existing boiler located at Cloverdale Fairgrounds - Shannon Hall, 6050 - 176 Street, Surrey, British Columbia, V3S 4E7. Boiler replacement must be accomplished by entering existing doorways only (no entry through walls or roof openings). Contractor is responsible for taking proper precautions regarding hazardous materials and are required to follow all WCB regulation requirements in relation to hazardous materials exposer and construction/renovation guidelines. The work to be done shall include the provision of all design, specifications, labour, materials, tools and equipment as well as the application of competent knowledge of construction, whether or not directly specified or shown on the plans, required for the installation, testing and commissioning of the complete boiler system. The Contractor is to remove and dispose of the existing boiler system. Civic facilities reserve the right to keep any controls/parts from existing boiler (to be removed by a Civic Facilities representative). Award amount was not released for publication.
