Renovation of a municipal facility in Lyons, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project work includes: 1. Mobilization/Demobilization 2. Insurance coverage, bonding and all permit costs 3. Obtaining a permit from the Town of Lyons for use of the Elmer Street ROW for the period of construction 4. Protection of utilities to remain 5. Pedestrian protection and traffic control 6. Installation, maintenance, and removal of temporary chain-link fencing around worksite. 7. Installation and removal of stabilized construction entrance 8. Excavation of soil and other materials 9. Transportation of excavated material to an approved landfill 10. Providing and placement of clean fill and topsoil 11. Grading, seeding, and mulching of all disturbed areas backfilled and/or damaged as a result of the Contract Work 12. Temporary watering of seeded and mulched areas until establishment of grass. 13. Removal of erosion control items and temporary fence after approval by Owner. The properties are vacant and owned by the Wayne County Regional Land Bank Corporation. The Land Bank disclaims any responsibility that representations made regarding conditions or quantities of materials willremain asthey were when reviewed by the bidders during the bidding period, priorto award of the contract, or during the course of the work. The use of Elmer Street to load and unload soil may require a permit from the Town of Lyons. The selected Contractorshall obtain this and any other required permits at his own expense. No work will be allowed to commence until the permit has been obtained by the selected Contractor and submitted to the owner for his review and acceptance. Minority and Women's Business Enterprises and Section 3 firms are encouraged to apply. This project is funded with program income generated under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, as administered by the NYS Office of Community Renewal and is subject to the provisions of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act (HUD) Act of 1968, as amended and other CDBG Program regulations.Prospective bidders should review the CDBG requirements included in the contract documents. The Contractor shall have 30 calendar days from Notice to Proceed to complete the Contract Work. The work shall be completed by March 28, 2022 at the latest.
