For the 2022 Right-ofWay Maintenance Program All bid proposals are to be made on the forms provided and will be made a part of the contract documents to be executed with the City. Addenda will be provided in an electronic format (.pdf format) via e-mail. All Bidding Document holders must provide a name, phone number and e-mail address to receive electronic addenda through QuestCDN.com and must reply to the e-mail to indicate receipt of the addenda. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid after the scheduled closing time for a period of ninety (90) days. Minorities and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids on these services. The City of West Chicago requires all construction Contractors bidding on Public Works projects and all of their subcontractors to be governed by the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. However, landscape work performed under this contract is not related to a construction or Public Works improvement project; therefore, this program is not governed by the latest Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.) as further explained on IDOLs website. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bid proposals, to waive any informality in any bid proposal, to re-advertise the proposed services, and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the City.
