The Village of Grayslake (Village) reserves the right to accept the Bid from the lowest responsible Bidder most favorable to the Village, as determined by the Village. The Village also reserves the right to reject any Bid or part of a Bid that does not conform to the Bidding requirements or to modify or waive all formalities and technicalities in a Bid, or to reject all Bids. Owner invites sealed Bidder's Proposals for the Work described in detail in the Contract and generally described as follows: 1. Lake Street Elevated Tank: a. Abrasive blast and recoat exterior, including containment shroud. b. Abrasive blast interior wet and recoat. c. Partial abrasive blast and touch up paint interior dry. d. Seam seal interior wet roof plates. e. Install hand railing and hand holds on the tank roof. f. Replace roof vent with failsafe-style vent. g. Replace access tube vent screen. h. Relocate radio antenna cables from ladder to dedicated supports. i. Replace cathodic protection system. j. Install new tank drain valve. k. Replace fall protection. l. Replace pipe insulation. 2. Hawley Street (Downtown) Elevated Tank: a. Overcoat exterior with aluminum-based coating and new block lettering. The work shall be performed at the following Work Sites: 1.
