The work consists of hot-mix asphalt (HMA) removal (2.8 mi), HMA paving, undercutting and patching, PCC curb and gutter and sidewalk removal and replacement with accessibility ramps, drainage structure repair and replacement, and other related items. The successful bidder shall warrant and guarantee that the bid price will be firm and that there will not be an escalation at time of construction. The Village of Lake Zurich reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicality, informality or irregularity in the proposals received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional proposals or counter-proposals and to hold the proposal for sixty (60) days from the opening date set forth above. The Village further reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the proposal to the most responsible bidder whose offer best responds in quality, fitness and capacity to the requirements of the proposed work or usage and therefore is in the best interest of the Village.
