Bids are invited upon the items and approximate quantities of work as follows: Base Bid Approximately: 8,500 CuYd of Unclassified Excavation; 11,000 SqYd of Geotextile Separator Fabric; 8,500 Tons of Sand Subbase Material; 2,000 Tons of Base Stone; 1,000 Tons of Finish Stone; 93,000 SqFt of Synthetic Football Turfing; 1 each Field Groomer, Sweeper and Magnet; 1,100 Feet of 12" Perforated Storm Sewer Piping; 4,100 Feet of Underdrain Panel Piping; 500 Tons of Underdrain Rock Bedding; Electrical work and other items of related construction Alternate Bid Items Approximately: 93,000 SqFt of Synthetic Football Turfing. The approximate quantities mentioned above are subject to increase or decrease. It will be agreed by bidders that all quantities of work will be performed in accordance with the provisions of the plans and specifications and at the unit price bid. Bidders agree to furnish all labor, material, and equipment necessary to complete all the work as shown in the plans and specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the Warner School District, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. A bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid will be accepted in lieu of a certified check or bank draft. Surety for bid bond must be authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota. Bids may be held by the Warner School District office for a period of not more than thirty (30) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, investigating the qualifications of the bidders and completing financial arrangements prior to awarding the Work. The Warner School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein.
