** This project has been awarded to Rodarte Construction in the amount of $7,563,800. ** This project consists of the following elements of work: traffic control; erosion and sediment control, revetment removal, earthwork, construct setback buried revetment, engineered, log jams, habitat. features, finish grading and planting The Project is located approximately 4 miles east of I-405 along the Renton-Maple Valley Highway (State Route 169) in unincorporated King County (Figure 1). The site encompasses the existing Cavanaugh Pond Natural Area and the former Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park (Figure 2). It is bordered by the Cedar River to the west, north, and east, between approximate River Miles 6.5 and 7.5. The Cedar River Trail borders the site to the south and is between the Project site and the Renton-Maple Valley Highway. ESTIMATE: The Engineers Estimate for this project is approximately $9,222,000 (before tax) For purposes of the Inclusion Plan, this is considered a Natural Habitat Restoration type of project with a Past Performance of 16% WMBE utilization rates based on completed projects.
