Work associated with proposed improvements is generally described as follows: Schedule A: Reconstruct Taxiway D work includes asphalt pavement removal, excavation, subbase course, base course, hot mix asphalt pavement, pavement marking, airfield electrical, and other items. Approximate quantities include 19,000 SY of asphalt pavement removal (by rotomilling), 8,000 CY of excavation, 1,600 CY of subbase course, 1,600 CY of base course, and 3,000 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement. Schedule B: Reonstruct Taxiway E work includes asphalt pavement removal, excavation, subbase course, base course, hot mix asphalt pavement, pavement marking, airfield electrical, and other items. Approximate quantities include 3,100 SY of asphalt pavement removal (by rotomilling), 1,200 CY of excavation, 500 CY of subbase course, 500 CY of base course, and 1,000 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement. Schedule C: Rehabilitate Runway 16-34 work includes pavement marking removal, crack repair, pavement cleaning, seal coat application, pavement marking application, and other items. Approximate quantities include 30,000 SF of pavement marking removal, 40,000 LF of Crack Repair, 55,000 SY of seal coat, and 28,000 SF of pavement markings. A Bid Guaranty, payable in cash, by cashier's check, certified check or bid bond, of 5 percent of the Bid amount is required. Separate Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract amount will be required. Each bidder must supply all the information required by the Bid Documents and Specifications. This Public Works Project is financed in part by Federal Aid Funds. No contractor, subcontractor, or specialty contractor shall be required to have a current license as a Contractor in the State of Idaho in order to submit a bid or proposal on this project; prior to award and execution of the Contract, the successful bidder shall secure a Idaho Public Works Contractor's License. Prospective Contractors are notified that the work under this Contract is funded in part by a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration and as such is subject to Executive Order 11246, 41 CFR Part 60-4, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Federal Labor Provisions. The Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Federal and State Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations. To be eligible for award, the Contractor must agree to comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements and Minimum Wage Rates identified in the Contract Documents. This solicitation and any resulting contract are subject to the Buy America requirements of 49 USC Section 50101. This project is a public improvement subject to the prevailing wage requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act 2 CFR Part 200, Appendix II (D) and 29 CFR Part 5. The bidder with the successful bid further agrees to comply with Title 2 CFR Part 1200 and Title 2 CFR Part 180 (Subpart C) and DOT Order 4200.5.
