Question Submission Close Date 2/09/2022 5:00 PM MST Demo and proper disposal of existing equipment, structures, and mechanical and electrical systems in the original UBTC Welding Shops. Prep surfaces to receive new finishes and equipment. Install new walls doors, finishes, mechanical and electrical systems. Schedule work with the college to minimize disruption to school functions and operations. Coordinate with a separate roofing project at roof penetration demo. The projects consist of the following work at the Uintah Basin Technical College located at 1100 East Lagoon Street, Roosevelt, Utah. 1. Demolition and proper disposal of existing systems, equipment, walls, and finishes as noted in the drawings in the identified areas of the Uintah Basin Technical College Building. Preparation for the to receive new walls, flooring, doors and Mechanical and Electrical Systems as shown on the accompanying drawings and described in the invitation to Bid. The work is to be completed in a manner to minimize disruption to the UBTC functions and operations. Note: Coordination with a separate total building re-roofing project is required at penetrations of and openings in the existing roof. B. Bidders will comply with the current codes and statues as adopted by the State of Utah, including, but not limited to: IBC 2018, IFC 2018, IPC 2018, IMC 2018, National Electric Code 2020, International Energy Conservation Code, ICC/ANSI A117.1-2009, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Building Board Policy Regarding Enhanced Accessibility to State Facilities which is attached to the RFP.
