Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Stow, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Steels Corners Bridge over Mud Brook is Summit County's longest bridge, stretching over 1,000 feet. In order to keep the 15-span bridge in good working order, SCE is looking to replace the bridge expansion joints, waterproof the bridge, and resurface with new asphalt. Arcadis, Inc is currently working through the design of these bridge repairs, including determining the best maintenance of traffic plan. Construction is expected in summer/fall 2022. On Steels Corners Road near the State Route 8 interchange on the border of Stow and Cuyahoga Falls. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
