Approximately 2,100 feet of water main installation, approximately 2,200 feet of storm sewer installation, miscellaneous sanitary sewer improvements, HMA pavement reconstruction, HMA resurfacing, HMA trench paving, concrete curb & gutter construction, sidewalk and driveway apron replacement, pavement markings, and parkway restoration. Project Location: Parkview Road, Spruce Street, and Birchwood Court Proposals requiring prequalification of bidders will be issued only to those contractors who are qualified with the Department of Transportation. Prequalification forms may be secured from the Engineer of Construction, Administration Building, 2300 South Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL 62764. ILDOT - Water Main Installation - 22-00204-00-RS a. Construction shall not begin prior to May 16, 2022 unless approved to start sooner by the Village. b. All underground utility work on or before June 30, 2022. c. Pavement Removal shall not begin prior to July 5, 2022. d. Final pavement removal, road base preparation, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and HMA binder course placement on or before August 5, 2022. e. Aggregate base course shall be placed on the same day of pavement removal at each location. f. Driveway restoration, parkway grading, and parkway restoration with topsoil shall be completed on or before August 19, 2022. g. Parkway grading, topsoil and sod shall be installed prior to final HMA surface course placement. The exact time of sodding/seeding and watering shall be coordinated by the Contractor with the Engineer. h. Full completion on or before September 2, 2022.
