Abatement and disposal of materials identified in GeoTek report dated 9/16/2020. Asbestos abatement will take place in areas effected by extents of demolition on 2nd and 3rd floor of the Minnehaha County Administration Building per demolition drawings A101 and A102. All bids must be accompanied by a Cashiers Check or Bid Bond payable to Minnehaha county, In an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of all submitted bids, if a cashiers check or an amount equal to the percent (10%) of the total amount of all submitted bids if a bid bond. All Bids shall be valid for acceptance by the Owner for a period of Sixty (60) days after submission of the Bid(s). Requests for interpretations, clarifications, corrections or changes of the Bidding Documents must be made in writing by email or fax at least Four (4) calendar days (February 7 th , 2022 by 3:00 PM) prior to the date for receipt of Bids. No Addenda will be issued later than Two (2) business days prior to the date for receipt of Bids for the limited situations set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. MBE/WBE goals are not required on this Project. However, it is requested that Biddersactively solicit minority contractors, suppliers and their organizations.
