*As of February 25, 2022 project was awarded to Dave OMara low bidder and was awarded the contract with an awarded amount of $195,689.06** County Road 100W from County Road 1000S to State Road 244 in Anderson Township General Work Specifications are on file at the Rush County Highway Department. General Conditions for Bidding: 1. All bids shall be submitted on Form 96. 2. All bids shall be on a unit price basis. 3. All bids shall be submitted in duplicate. 4. A certified check or bid bond shall accompany each bid in the amount of ten (10) percent of the bid total. 5. Certified checks or bid bonds shall be returned to all unsuccessful bidders. 6. The Rush County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept more than one bid or reject any or all bids, or any part thereof.The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept bids on a line item basis and those they deem to be in the best interest of Rush County. Rush County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation and Title 23 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200, Title VI Program and Related Statutes, issued pursuant to such Acts, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contact entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of religion, race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability/handicap and low income in consideration for an award." Bid documents may be picked up at the Rush County Highway Department. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
