Contractor agrees to furnish trained, competent labor and supervision and shaE coordinate each job with the Project Manager or designee. Contractor shah provide aE equipment, scaffolding, safety gear, signage, materials, tools, suppEes, and transportation necessary for the proper execution and completion ofinterior and exterior painting and associated services as specified for the City. Painting services shall vary depending on the type and materials of new and existing areas and surfaces to be painted or finished. Materials and services provided by the Contractor shaU comply with aE current Federal, State, local and municipal laws, ordinances and rules and regulations. Paints to be used shaE be pre-approved by Project Manager or designee. AE materials such as brushes, roEers, sanders/sandpaper, tape, drop cloths, joint compound, caulk, primer/stain blocker, etc., are to be provided by the Contractor. The City reserves the right to specify precisely the types ofmaterials to be utdized. Contractor shaE only use materials compatible with existing materials that wiE ensure proper bonding and longevity ofsurfaces. The intent ofthis Request for Proposal is to obtain firm-fixed-unit-price bids from qualified painting contractors who will be readily available to provide exterior and interior painting services at miscellaneous City buildings on an as-needed basis over a one (1) year period. The City desires to pre-qualify firms available to provide these services with the intention to create an active call-list with multiple qualified firms on an asneeded basis for projects as they arise. Call Est wiE be created, based upon unit cost pricing on bid page attached hereto. The City wiE seek price quotes for the services as needed, and wiE award Project to the vendor whose response is most advantageous in price and completion date.
