The City of Alliance Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) has an accumulation of biosolids in an unused aeration tank. It is approximately 20% solids by weight. It is considered a "cake" and is able to be loaded using a frontend loader and hauled in a dump type truck. The City anticipates approximately 1600 wet tons of sludge will need hauled and disposed of in a landfill. This is not a guaranteed amount. Bidders shall provide a cost/wet ton bid for disposal of the biosolids from the Alliance WWTP. The cost/wet ton bid shall include all costs associated with the disposal of the sludge at the landfill. The Landfill shall provide the required manifests. Proposals must conform to all instructions and requirements set forth in the specifications and must be accompanied by all required documents and forms set forth in the specifications. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid considered lowest and best for the City of Alliance.
