NEW BRIDGE NUMBER: 41C0217 PREVIOUS BRIDGE NUMBER: 41C0001 File No.: 20150076, 20150076.001A The work to be done consists of road and bridge construction, in general, the removal and replacement of an existing three span timber bridge with a new two span cast in place reinforced concrete bridge within Madera County as shown on the Plans and in accordance with the State Standard Specifications, Revised Specifications, and these Special Provisions. Question and Answer - Please submit technical questions in writing no later than 5:00 PM Wednesday February 9th, 2022, 6 days before the set date for bid opening. Questions received after 5:00PM Wednesday February 9th, 2022 will no longer be accepted. The reply will be in the form of an addendum if appropriate, a copy of which will be forwarded to known recipients, or through online "Questions & Answers" on Ebidboard. Answers to questions and/or addenda will be posted onto Ebidboard before 5:00 PM Friday February 11th, 2022. Technical questions should be directed to Haden Hinkle through email at haden.hinkle@maderacounty.com The contractor shall possess either a Class A license or a combination of Class C licenses which constitutes a majority of the work at the time this contract is awarded. A contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform work pursuant to Section 1725.5 . It is not a violation of this section for an unregistered contractor to submit a bid that is authorized by Section 7029.1 of the Business and Professions Code or by Section 10164 or 20103.5 of the Public Contract Code, provided the contractor is registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 at the time the contract is awarded. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. Addition of a Mandatory Pre-bid Conference for this contract on February 4, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Road 200 Bridge at Fine Gold Creek. The meeting area will be in the turn out area 400 feet south ofthe existing bridge. Project site is approximately 7.9 miles NE ofthe Intersection of SR-41 and Road 200.
