This work shall be at various locations throughout Tuscola County or state highways under the maintenance jurisdiction of the Tuscola County Road Commission. This work shall include all necessary labor, equipment, and material to place HMA to the depth specified, and compacting the material to achieve the required density for a complete installation. Quantities shown are estimates and are subject to increase or decrease by the Engineer. Changes in quantities will not change unit prices as bid. Some projects are to be constructed in coordination with work by other Contractors, or Tuscola County Maintenance Crews. The bidders awarded these projects will cooperate by scheduling their work with the other crew. Please call the Caro Office at 989.673.2128 with any questions. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to re-advertise or to accept the proposal, that in their opinion, is in the best interest of Tuscola County. All interlayers are scheduled to be completed by June 30th, 2022. All paving must be complete by October 15, 2022.
