BASE BID: High School Remove and replace the existing wood athletic gym floor to the existing concrete deck and install a new flooring system, volleyball sleeves and painted finish and striping of the floor. The bleachers will be removed and reinstalled for the completion of the work. Preliminary floor designs will be provided for inclusion in the bid documents. Elementary School Install a new wood finish pattern vinyl athletic floor overlay over the existing sports floor in the existing Elementary Gymnasium. Provide new striping and design. Install new door thresholds and adjust the basketball goals and volleyball sleeves. The bleachers will be removed and reinstalled for the completion of the work. BY ALTERNATE BID No. 1: State the amount to be added to the Bid to upgrade the finish floor material at the High School Gym from a grade 3 to a grade 2 finish. BY ALTERNATE BID No. 2: State the amount to be added to the Bid to upgrade the finish floor material at the High School Gym from a grade 3 to a grade 1 finish. This project has a construction estimate of: under $250,000 In accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, all bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The surety company must be authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be acceptable to the School District. If the bid guarantee is not submitted with the bid, the District will reject the bid. Proposals shall be made on unaltered bid forms which are incorporated herein. All blank spaces shall be completed. Proposals shall be signed with name typed below signature. When bidder is a corporation, proposals must be signed with the legal name of the corporation followed by the name of the state of incorporation and the legal signature of an officer authorized to bind the corporation to a contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds acceptable to the District all in accordance with of the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall carefully examine the documents and construction site to obtain firsthand knowledge of the existing condition. Contractors will not be given extra payments for conditions which can be determined by examining the site and documents. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty days (60) subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the District.
