Salmon Creek Treatment Plant Equipment and Materials for the Phase 5B Package 2 Secondary Treatment Process Improvements Project Discovery Clean Water Alliance for the Equipment and Materials for the Phase 5B Package 2-Secondary Treatment Process Improvements Project; Discovery Clean Water Alliance Project No. 92-2017-0053. The Project contemplated consists of: 120-foot diameter secondary clarifier mechanism, suction duct type. Two (2) 100 hp, 12-inch return activated sludge pumps. Motor Control Center (MCC) and Adjustable Frequency Drives (AFDs). Process Piping Materials: Cement-lined ductile iron, and welded steel piping (8-inch, 18-inch, and 36-inch diameter). Process Valves: Plug valves (8-inch through 24-inch); swing check valves (16-inch). Interim milestones apply to equipment and materials as specified. The Project will be completed in all respects on or before the following dates: Secondary Clarifier Mechanism Center Column Anchor Bolts and Anchor Bolt Template: July 15, 2022. Secondary Clarifier Mechanism: January 31, 2023. Two (2) RAS Pumps: March 31, 2023. MCC Section and AFDs: March 31, 2023. 36-inch ML, 18-inch RAS, and 8-inch WAS/PD Process Piping Materials Under Secondary Clarifier 5: July 15, 2022. All Other Process Piping Materials and Valves: December 30, 2022. The Board of Sewer Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding, accept a proposal of the lowest responsible bidder, reject any or all bids, republish the call for bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of the District is served. Award of Contract is not anticipated to occur prior to March 15, 2022. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the District.
