Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shakopee, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project is for the full depth reconstruction of the bituminous roadway for Stagecoach Road from the roundabout at CR101 to 13th Avenue, including the construction of a new bituminous trail. Utilities, the addition of curb and gutter and additional storm sewer and other improvements will be evaluated and included with this project. Project is included City of Shakopee Fiscal Year 2025-2029. As of June 30, 2025, a contract was awarded and contractor identified. Construction began first week of June 2025. Construction will be in 2 phases. 1st phase will be from the railroad tracks going north and west towards the roundabout. The 2nd phase will be from the railroad tracks heading south over US169/CR101 bridge towards 13th Avenue. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
