Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of November 16, 2022, the project has been completed. The question due date shall now be February 22, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. The McDuff Park Access Road and Parking Lot Project will construct approximately 1,700 linear feet of gravel road to be connected to a VDOT commercial entrance. In addition, a gravel parking lot of approximately 44,000 square feet will be constructed requiring three (3) concrete pad, handicap-accessible parking spaces. Approximately 150 linear feet of 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk as well as infiltration trenches and an earthen weir of approximately 100 linear feet will also be constructed. The time for completion of this Contract shall be as fixed in the Owner-Contractor Agreement. Unless otherwise specified in the Owner-Contractor Agreement, liquidated damages for non-completion within the stipulated time shall be Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per calendar day for Substantial Completion and Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per calendar day for Final Completion.
