The City of Buffalo, through its' Permits & Inspection Services Department ("City"), has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional services which include, but are not limited, asbestos air sampling, lead and mold sampling and project monitoring services and reporting on an as needed basis. The City invites all firms with prior demonstrative experience in providing such services to submit a proposal for the City's consideration. All questions, requests for clarification or additional information must be sent by email to Catherine Amdur at camdur@city-buffalo.com with a cc' to Holly McNamara at hmcnamara@city-buffalo.com and must be received no later than February 7, 2022 by 4:00 p.m. Offerors shall not communicate with the City's designee via any other method or outside of the time period set forth herein. All Offerors must submit with their proposal a statement indicating that they will work toward a minority workforce goal of 25%, and woman workforce goal of 5%. The contract, if any, awarded from this solicitation is expected to be for an initial term of two (2) year term. The City shall have the option, at its sole discretion, to renew the contract for up to three (3) additional one (1) year terms, with no change in the contract price and terms and conditions. Each renewal shall be subject to appropriation and approval by the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject for any reason any and all responses or components thereof and to eliminate any and all Offerors responding to this Request for Proposals from further consideration for this procurement.
