Site work for a civil project in Forest Lake, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes the construction of approximately: A. For two (2) lift stations, complete station replacement. B. For four (4) lift stations, station replacement with reuse of existing wet well. C. For six (6) lift stations, addition of a bypass pipe to the valve vault and/or other miscellaneous work. D. For three (3) lift stations, replacement of the existing station with a prefabricated grinder station and new small-diameter forcemain and coating of the discharge manhole. E. For one (1) lift station, replacement of existing forcemain and coating of the discharge manhole. F. At two (2) lift stations, addition of a permanent backup generator. Alternate items of work have been included for the following: A. For one (1) lift station, station replacement with reuse of existing wet well. together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Truck Rentals, Targeted Group Business Program Good Faith Efforts, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions, and Responsible Contractor Certification. A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Forest Lake shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
