Site work for a mixed-use development in Enola, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Project generally consists of (a) Installation of an owner supplied pavilion. Pavement of walking trails to four structures; (b) for the restroom, potable water service will be extended from Marketplace Way and sanitary sewer service will be connected to the existing manhole on site; (c) two (2) flagpoles and brick hardscape will be installed; (d) aluminum railing will be installed along both sides of the trail culvert; and (e) 70 percent uniform vegetation must be achieved for all earth disturbance. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10 %) of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the bid price as well as payment bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the bid price. It is anticipated that the project cost is at least $25,000, therefore Pennsylvania prevailing wages under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act will be required. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
