** As of March 15, 2022, the county has decided not to award a contract as the result of any proposals. ** The 840 square mile County has 50 emergency alert sirens and 2 building controllers erected at various locations inside and outside of Allegan County including 9 sirens in Holland City, 5 sirens in South Haven, and 2 building controllers at Sandy Pines Campground in Hopkins. In addition, the Gun Lake Tribe uses Federal signal's CommanderOne(R) cloud-based control system to monitor and control their warning sirens from any desktop or mobile device. These sirens are located on the grounds of Gun Lake Casino in Wayland Township and Camp Jijak in Hopkins Township. The sirens are Modulator High Powered Omni Speakers capable of voice communication and warning signals which are produced by Federal Signal's UltraVoice(TM).
