Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Palo Alto, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project provides funding for repair and replacement of equipment and amenities throughout Mitchell Park. The improvements include replacement of the playground equipment located along East Meadow Drive, renovation of the water-play element, repair of the covered wood walkway structure, replacement of playground and water play area fencing, and new rubberized surfacing. Also included are irrigation renovations, turf restoration and replacement of site amenities and decomposed granite pathways. The playground equipment, water-play element, fencing, covered wood walkway structure, decomposed granite pathways and site amenities have surpassed their expected life cycle. Repair and/or replacement is necessary. Loss of vegetation has been linked to poor irrigation. As of August 02, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
