Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 10,000-square-foot educational facility.

The project consists of approximately 10,000 SF of office area remodeling. The majority of this remodeling will be to convert an obsolete printing center into open office space. The remodeling will include new gyp partitions, new glass enclosed conference rooms, and new open office space. It will require the removal of corridor bearing walls and the installation of a new structural steel frame. The existing toilet rooms will be expanded and remodeled. The rooftop Air Handling Unit will be replaced and enlarged, and new ductwork will be run to the remodeled spaces. The existing infill in the window openings will be removed and new aluminum windows will be installed in the existing openings. The entire remodeled areas will receive new interior finishes. Knutson Construction Services has been selected as Agency Construction Manager by the Eden Prairie Schools Each bidder must accompany his Proposal with a Cashier's Check, Bid Bond or Certified Check equal to 5% of the amount of the Proposal payable to the Owner as a guarantee of prompt execution of the Contract in accordance with the Proposal and Contract Documents, and that he will furnish bond acceptable to the Owner covering performance and payment of the Contract. Bids under $25,000 will not require a bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids.
