As of August 18, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction ha snot been confirmed. Project consists of installing new sewer pumps and controls, demolition and replacing secondary clarifier internal equipment, modification to existing clarifier sludge box, and an additive alternate to install a new floating brush aerator and controls. The issuing offce for bidding documents is Parkhill, 4222 85th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79423, 806.473.2200. Prospective Bidders may examine and obtain bidding documents at the issuing office as noted. Deposit shall be Bidder's or cashiers' check made payable to Parkhill. No partial sets issued. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding documents, including addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the issuing office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Section 00 21 13, "Instructions to Bidders." This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Any contract(s) awarded under this Invitation for Bids is/are subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of Section 608 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. This contract is subject to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, which includes EPA-approved fair share goals toward procurement of Minority and women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) businesses.
