Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Ravenna, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work under this Contract consists of asphalt milling and paving, lighting improvements, landscaping, and associated work items. All prospective bidders must contact the Engineering Department no less than four days prior to the bid opening with their contact information. Failure to do so may render any bid informal and subject to rejection. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid surety furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety in an amount as allowed by Treasury Circular 570. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must comply with the wage rates for Public Improvements in Portage County and in the City of Ravenna, Ohio as determined by the State Prevailing Wages for this work. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
