Notice is hereby given that St. Johns County is soliciting sealed bids for Bid No: 22-54; Modernization of St. Johns County Courthouse Elevators. St. Johns County is seeking Proposals for modernizing six (6) 3-stop and one (1) 2-stop hydraulic elevators at the St. Johns County Courthouse located at 4010 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, FL 32084. All parts must be genuine original manufacturer's parts, approved by the original manufacturer for the specific device being replaced, unless approved by the County. All work shall be in accordance with current applicable national, state, and local codes. The qualified Contractor shall be responsible for providing any and all permitting, labor, materials, scaffolding, machinery, hoists, transportation, employee safety equipment, lubricants, equipment, and supervision required for modernizing six (6) 3-stop and one (1) 2-stop hydraulic elevators within the St. Johns County Courthouse. All work areas must be secured with all the required OSHA safety signage in place. All Contractor employees must be level two (2) background check prior to starting any work. Work area must be kept as clean as possible during the work day and must be cleared of all work tools and materials at the end of the work day. Contractor is responsible for disposing of all parts and debris from work site. Contractor may use the grass area between the Courthouse and Central Receiving for onsite storage. Once project is completed, As-Builts of the project shall be provided to owner and all state requiring testing shall be performed prior to sign-off of project. Bid Bond 5% Any and all questions related to this project shall be directed, in writing, to the Designated Point of Contact. Questions are due no later than four o'clock (4:00 PM EST) on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.Any and all questions and/or inquiries shall be directed, in writing, via email to mfusco@sjcfl.us. St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor formalities, and to award the bid/proposal that best serves the interests of St. Johns County. St. Johns County also reserves the right to award the base bid and any alternate bids in any combination that best suits the needs of the County. . Construction of the project shall be substantially complete within one hundred eighty (180) consecutive calendar days from the date stipulated on the Notice to Proceed. Final completion shall be attained ten (10) consecutive calendar days from the date of substantial completion.
