HE 094.0138.2021 JES/GEM From prime contractors for the construction work for the project named Mechanical The Completion Date for the track and civil work is August 1st of 2022. The completion date for the remainder of the project is April 1st of 2023. In no case will the deadline for project completion be extended. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidders bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this state, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, within ten days after notice of award, the principal will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and a contractors bond as required by law the regulations and determinations of the governing board. All bidders must be licensed in North Dakota for the highest amount of their bids, as approved by Section 43-07-05 of the North Dakota Century Code. A copy of the bidder's ND contractor's license must be included in the bid bond envelope. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and licenses, and any deficient bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the bidder immediately.
