Pump Station #9B Upgrades Project - 4593994

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The purpose of this project is to upgrade one existing pump and corresponding piping at Pump Station #9B, from the suction valve, to the discharge valve to include the reducing tee connecting to the force main header. Existing pump, pump motor, knife gate valves, check valve, corresponding piping, base and stand will be site cleared and turned over to WVSA for disposal or rebuilding. New pump, corresponding piping, knife gate valves, check valve, base and stands will be installed and then field welded in place. A new stainless steel floor will be installed over the existing carbon steel floor prior to piping work and will be field welded around the perimeter. All work to be performed in accordance with WVSA Project Drawings and Specifications. The project will include but not limited to the procurement and installation of knife valves, check valves, corresponding piping, new fabrications, gaskets and hardware. All labor, tools and equipment for the project shall be provided by the contractor. All new fabrications, knife gate valves, check valve, hardware, gaskets and piping shall be provided by the contractor. WVSA to provide a new pump only. WVSA will also provide maintenance support, quality control and construction management. WVSA Electrical is responsible for all electrical construction.
