Site work for a water / sewer project in Strasburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Interested parties may submit Proposals for an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Full Service Implementation or Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) and Maintenance Program in order to improve the process of collecting monthly water utility meter data to enhance the level of service offered to customers. Both AMI and AMR will be considered. The AMI/AMR Full Service Program will be implemented system wide in a short time frame, in order to maximize the benefits of the system. Interested parties are to submit Proposals for a turnkey deployment of approximately 2,800 metered accounts, followed by an ongoing maintenance program that includes network, AMI endpoints, and software maintenance as well as full service data hosting and delivery to the Town. The Town of Strasburg does not discriminate in the solicitation or awarding of contracts on the basis of race, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or any other basis prohibited by state or federal law
