The work consists of a new Softball Field with Dugouts, Press Box and Bleachers; A New Plaza with Ticket Booth and fencing; One Story 8,475 sf Softball/Baseball Locker Room facility with Concession, Coach's Office and Covered Hitting/Pitching Lanes. The GC shall connect to building utilities five feet from building pad. Paving, sidewalks, landscaping and site lighting shall be part of the alternate bid. Trades included but not limited to: Termite Control, Landscaping, Painting Markings, Asphalt Paving & Concrete Curb/Walks, Lawns & Grasses, Cast-In-Place Concrete, Masonry, Metal Fabrications, Rough Carpentry, Wood Trusses, Solid Surface Fabrications, Waterproofing, Building and Rigid Insulation, Vapor Barriers, Standing Seam Metal Roofing, Sealants, Caulking, D/F/H, Access Doors, Rolling Counter Doors, Drywall, Concrete Floor Sealer, Resilient Athletic Flooring, Resinous Flooring, Painting, Fire Extinguisher, Flagpoles, Toilet Accessories, Play Field Equipment, Metal Building System, Bleachers, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Site Clearing, Grading, Excavation, Rock Removal, Trenching, Fill, Aggregate Base Courses, Concrete Paving, Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavement, Chain Link Fences and Site Utilities. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or by a Bidder's Bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price prior to the execution of the contract Knox County reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the County.
