Renovation of a municipal facility in Sarnia, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Description of Project: - Removal and disposal of existing chiller unit - Supply and installation of replacement chiller - All connections and commissioning Contract Term: 5-year preventative maintenance program term Documents can be obtained at: https://sarnia.bidsandtenders.ca Question Deadline: Thu Feb 17, 2022 1:00:00 PM (EST) Scope of Work Phase 1- Prepare old equipment for removal. Drain water from chiller. Reclaim all R22 refrigerant Disconnect the electrical Disconnect water lines from chiller after water has been drained Phase 2 (day of delivery for equipment) Block off area in back parking lot for traffic control(keeping in mind crane lift and equipment delivery.) Set up crane area. Crane old equipment off of roof onto a flatbed truck Proponent responsible for all disposal of existing unit and all associated costs Crane the new chiller up on the roof Set new chiller on isolator pads on the roof curbs. Phase 3 -connect pluming lines to new chiller. fill system with water connect the electrical. Start up and commission new equipment Review of factory recommended preventative maintenance plan with city representative award is subject to final approval.
