The City of Daly City hereby requests proposals from qualified project and construction management firms to provide project management, construction management/resident engineer and construction support services for the Daly City Capital Project Swarm of certain American Rescue Plan Act and State-funded projects for various Facility, Park, Library, and Other Improvements in Daly City. All questions regarding this Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be directed to the project contact: Kevin Fehr City Engineer (650) 991-8064 kfehr@dalycity.org The project scope consists of the project management and construction management of several capital projects. The selected firm(s) shall provide a variety of project management, contract administration, construction management, and other services in order to ensure the cost-effective and timely execution, from concept to construction completion, following all applicable federal, state, and local requirements. The various projects within the Capital Project Swarm contains a variety of projects that require professionalism, expertise, communication, collaboration, coordination, creativity, and dedication. Project phases vary in complexity for each project from conceptualization, environmental, design, construction, outreach, and more. Proposals shall be submitted by firms that have a capable and demonstrable background in the type of work described in Section D, "SCOPE OF SERVICES," of this notice. In addition, all interested firms shall have sufficient, readily available resources in the form of trained personnel, support services, specialized consultants and financial resources to carry out the work without delay or shortcomings. The submitting firms must have capacity to complete work within the time limit and construction schedule established by the City. Additionally, firms that have not been pre-qualified by the City through the City's 2021 OnCall General Engineering Services RFQ selection process and are not on the City's on-call list to provide construction management services shall, under separate cover, submit additional qualifications per Article II. B. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
